Dear god I hate sitting around waiting for hockey news. 82 games is not enough for a single season. The extent of news in the hockey world is the possible retirement of Scott Niedermayer, Nylander possibly signing with the caps, and the Rangers pursuit of our second line center. With Chris Drury growing up a Rangers fan he is obviously one of the top picks to be signed this off season.
Not to mention of defense needs some boosting. Hopefully by this time next year we’ll be talking about how great Marc Staal’s first season with the New York Rangers was. Thankfuly free agency starts on July 1st and then the signing frenzy will commence.
